This verified 2026 calendar brings together 20 established gemstone, mineral and jewellery events across Europe, Asia, North America and Australia. I have included access information wherever it is particularly important, so you can distinguish a public show from a professional buying fair before arranging travel.

January and February
Tucson, Arizona, USA: 28 January to 15 February 2026
Tucson is not one single exhibition. It is a city-wide gathering of numerous independently organised shows, with gemstones, minerals, fossils, beads, jewellery, lapidary materials and equipment spread across many venues.
Most shows are open to the public, although some wholesale events require trade credentials. Plan your visit by location rather than attempting to move randomly between venues; distances, traffic and parking can consume much of the day.
2. INHORGENTA
Munich, Germany: 20 to 23 February 2026
INHORGENTA is a professional trade fair covering jewellery, watches, gemstones, design and manufacturing. It is particularly useful for observing how gemstones are being presented within contemporary jewellery and for understanding wider retail and design trends.
This is a trade event, so check the organiser’s registration requirements before making travel arrangements.
Bangkok, Thailand: 22 to 26 February and 8 to 12 September 2026
Bangkok holds two editions of this established gem and jewellery fair during the year. Exhibitors cover loose coloured gemstones, diamonds, pearls, silver jewellery, finished pieces, machinery and related services.
Thailand is an important cutting, trading and jewellery-manufacturing centre, making Bangkok particularly relevant to buyers interested in coloured stones. Check the visitor requirements for the particular edition and day you intend to attend.
March and April
Hong Kong: 2 to 6 March 2026
Held at AsiaWorld-Expo, this sourcing-focused event concentrates on loose diamonds, coloured gemstones, pearls and other jewellery materials.
It runs alongside the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, which takes place at a separate venue from 4 to 8 March and focuses more heavily on finished jewellery. Both events are designed primarily for professional buyers.
5. Minéral Expo Paris Spring Edition
Paris, France: 10 to 12 April 2026
This public show brings together minerals, crystals, gemstones, jewellery, fossils and meteorites at Espace Charenton.
It is suitable for collectors and curious visitors as well as people looking for cut stones or handcrafted jewellery. A second Minéral Expo Paris takes place from 4 to 6 December 2026.
May
6. GemGenève
Geneva, Switzerland: 7 to 10 May 2026
GemGenève combines important gemstone and jewellery dealers with antique jewellery, contemporary designers, educational talks and specialist exhibitions.
The event welcomes professionals as well as knowledgeable private buyers and collectors. Identification is required for entry, so complete any registration and ticket arrangements before travelling.
Shanghai, China: 8 to 11 May 2026
Held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center, this event covers coloured gemstones, diamonds, pearls, jade, crystals, mineral specimens, gold jewellery and original design.
The show attracts jewellery professionals, collectors and consumers. Visitors should register in advance and confirm any entry requirements directly with the organiser.
8. Tokyo International Mineral Fair
Tokyo, Japan: 22 to 25 May 2026
The Tokyo International Mineral Fair focuses on minerals, fossils, gemstones, meteorites and scientific specimens.
It is an accessible public event with a strong collecting and educational emphasis. It is particularly relevant to mineral enthusiasts, lapidaries and visitors interested in the geological side of gemstones.
Las Vegas, Nevada, USA: 29 May to 1 June 2026
JCK brings together jewellery retailers, manufacturers, designers, gemstone suppliers and service providers at The Venetian Expo.
This is a credentialed trade-only event. Selected gemstone areas, including AGTA GemFair and the GEMS Pavilion, open on 28 May, one day before the main JCK show floor.
June and July
Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines, France: 24 to 28 June 2026
This extensive event transforms the Alsace town into a marketplace for minerals, fossils, rough material, cut gemstones and jewellery.
The early days are reserved for professional visitors. The general public can attend on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 June. Study the site plan beforehand because the event occupies multiple halls and outdoor areas.
Singapore: 9 to 12 July 2026
Held at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, this event includes loose gemstones, diamonds, pearls, fine jewellery, rough and cut stones, watches and related products.
The show serves both professional buyers and private jewellery enthusiasts. As with any sales event, the organiser facilitates the exhibition but does not independently guarantee the quality or representations made by individual sellers.
August and September
Mumbai, India: 5 to 10 August 2026
This large professional jewellery show operates across two Mumbai venues. The Jio World Convention Centre edition runs from 5 to 9 August, while the Bombay Exhibition Centre runs from 6 to 10 August.
IIJS is a business-to-business event for members of the gem and jewellery trade. Advance registration and professional eligibility are required.
Vicenza, Italy: 4 to 8 September 2026
Vicenzaoro covers the jewellery supply chain, including precious stones, finished jewellery, components, watches, packaging and manufacturing technology.
The September edition is reserved for industry professionals. Registration is required, so it is not an appropriate event for a casual visitor without a genuine trade connection.
Westminster, Colorado, USA: 10 to 13 September 2026
The Denver Gem & Mineral Show brings together gemstones, minerals, fossils, jewellery and educational exhibits. In 2026 it takes place at The Westin Westminster alongside the Hardrock Summit.
It is accessible to the public and is particularly strong for mineral collectors, although jewellery and cut gemstones are also represented.
Hong Kong: 14 to 20 September 2026
This trade event is divided between two venues. Loose gemstones, diamonds, pearls and other raw materials are shown at AsiaWorld-Expo from 14 to 18 September. Finished jewellery is presented at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 16 to 20 September.
The gemstone halls bring together cutters, dealers and mine-to-market suppliers from numerous producing and trading countries. Entry is restricted to qualified jewellery professionals and invited visitors.
October
Sydney, Australia: 2 to 4 October 2026
This smaller public event at Tramsheds Harold Park offers gemstones, jewellery, minerals, fossils, decorative specimens and lapidary material.
Its more compact scale may suit visitors who find the largest international fairs difficult to navigate, although the same care should still be taken when assessing seller claims and potential purchases.
Munich, Germany: 22 to 25 October 2026
The Munich Show combines minerals, fossils, gemstones and jewellery across several halls at the Munich Trade Fair Centre.
The first two days, 22 and 23 October, are reserved for registered trade visitors. The show opens to the public on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October. Confirm that you are booking for the correct access days.
November and December
Perth, Australia: 6 to 8 November 2026
Held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, this public show features gemstones, minerals, fossils, crystals, jewellery and lapidary interests.
It offers an approachable introduction for collectors and families while still attracting specialist dealers and experienced enthusiasts.
New York City, USA: 7 and 8 November 2026
This public retail and wholesale event takes place at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan.
Visitors can expect loose gemstones, jewellery, minerals and collector material. Its manageable two-day format makes it easier to revisit a seller or compare several options before deciding whether to buy.
Jaipur, India: 22 to 25 December 2026
Jaipur is one of the world’s most significant coloured-gemstone cutting and jewellery centres. Its annual Jewellery Show combines loose stones, finished jewellery, design and manufacturing.
A trade preview takes place on 21 December. From 22 to 25 December, the event has separate business and public opening hours, so check the timetable carefully before attending.
How to Prepare for a Gemstone Show
A large show can place thousands of stones and hundreds of sellers in front of you within a few hours. Preparation matters, particularly when treatments, laboratory reports, origin claims and prices vary considerably.
Before attending:
Confirm whether the event is open to the public or restricted to the trade.
Register in advance and carry the identification or professional documents required.
Study the exhibitor list and floor plan before arriving.
Decide what you are looking for and set a realistic spending limit.
Research the gemstone, likely treatments and appropriate laboratory reports.
Ask whether treatments, origin and return terms are stated in writing.
Photograph stones and documents only with the seller’s permission.
Record the seller’s full business details before making a significant purchase.
Check customs, tax, insurance and import requirements for your return journey.
Never allow the atmosphere of the show to pressure you into buying immediately.
A laboratory report can provide important information, but it does not automatically tell you whether the price is appropriate or whether a stone is right for your needs. Equally, a confident seller, attractive display or impressive origin story is not a substitute for evidence.
