Welcome to Gemstone Detective Blog, a platform curated by gemmologist Kim Rix. Kim accepts contributions from professional writers, gem enthusiasts and trade experts. You can pay to be published on the Gemstone Detective blog. Learn how to submit your article and be featured on this platform.

To maintain the high quality of my blog, I have established the following guidelines for guest posts.

1. Content Quality and Relevance

All submissions must be original, exclusive content that has not been published elsewhere.
Articles should provide value, insight, or entertainment to our audience, aligning with topics like gemstones, ethical sourcing, photography, travel, or personal anecdotes.
Posts should be well-researched, engaging, and at a minimum of 800 words.

2. Topic Approval

Proposed topics must receive prior approval to ensure they align with our blog’s objectives and interests of our readers.
We encourage guest contributors to suggest multiple topics for consideration.

3. Do-Follow Links

Guest posts may include up to two do-follow links, including one to your website and one to an authoritative external source.
Links should be relevant and contribute positively to the reader’s experience.

4. Editorial Rights

Gemstone Detective Blog reserves the right to edit content for clarity, style, or length.
I may alter headlines and choose accompanying images or graphics as needed.

5. Compensation

Payment is required upfront and will be conducted via BACS transfer.
Pricing varies based on topic complexity and the contributor’s credentials. Please contact me directly for a quote.

6. Publishing Timeframe

Once your article is accepted, it typically takes 7-14 days to review and publish.
I will notify you if there are any unexpected delays.

7. Additional Terms

All posts require a short author bio, which may include one social media link.
Ensure compliance with copyright and legal standards relevant to your content.
Gemstone Detective Blog does not guarantee the publication of all submissions.
