Gemstone Talks

Educate, Motivate, Help and Inspire

Kim Rix is a gemmologist, qualified by the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) — the world’s leading authority on gemstones. She has travelled all over the world to acquire the information she will be sharing with you.

As a guest speaker, she shares tales of her solo-travels, whilst researching and writing the Gemstone Detective book series.

Throughout the presentation, Kim provides plenty of tips and advice on what to look for when you set off on your own adventure to buy gemstones and jewellery with confidence.

Gem talks can be accompanied by a photographic powerpoint presentation and last for 60 minutes, followed by questions from the audience.

You were fantastic Kim! I loved that you made your gem travels so human and engaging with your personal tales and amazing photography! Those Opal shots were particularly fab!

Sophie Evans, FGA

It was a really interesting talk!

Thank you, it made me want to get out there and experience these places.

Rie Hamaguchi

It was an informative and valuable talk in which I gained good knowledge about precious stones.
